Access Industries is the majority owner of Warner Music Group (WMG), as well as being the majority owner of streaming service Deezer.
Founded in 1986 by Sir Len Blavatnik, Access Industries is headquartered in New York, with further offices in London and Moscow.
In July 2011, Access Industries completed a deal to fully acquire Warner Music Group for $3.3 billion in an all-cash transaction.
First Access Entertainment
In addition to WMG and Deezer, Access Industries is also an investor in Sarah Stennett‘s First Access Entertainment company.
When First Access launched as a joint venture between Access and music manager Sarah Stennett in 2015, Len Blavatnik said: “I look forward to collaborating with Sarah and her team. Sarah has successfully launched the careers of many renowned artists and brings extensive experience in talent discovery and artistic management.”
Len Blavatnik continues to operate as Access Industries’ Chairman.

Access Industries invests in entertainment and theatrical companies via its Access Entertainment subsidiary, which was launched in May 2016, and is led by Danny Cohen, the former Director of BBC Television.
