Because Music acquisitions and expansion
In August 2017, Because announced its acquisition of the London Records catalog from Warner Music Group as part of WMG’s divestments to the independent sector in the wake of its acquisition of Parlophone.
In September 2017, Because announced it had also acquired the catalog of the Beta Band via the WMG divestments.
In November 2017, Because Music announced an expansion into the United States, signing a global distribution deal with Universal Music Group / Caroline.Music Business Worldwide
